Probate and Estate Planning Attorney working from home. Covid 19 shelter-in-place

Bob Leonard Law Group, Estate Planning & Probate Attorney -Working from Home in the Midst of COVID 19 Pandemic

This has been my experience working from home due to shelter-in-place and social distancing orders in the midst of the COVID 19 pandemic.

My wife is a 5th grade teacher and is currently coordinating with several parents to help continue to educate their children while their entire families are stuck at home during the workday. Our 4-month old son’s daycare is shut down so we are having to trade off times between who is working and who is watching the baby while doing our best to each maintain a dedicated work effort.

I write this not to complain but rather to explain my understanding of the struggles that many clients with young children are likely facing during this time. I also want clients to know that I am aware that hiring an attorney is a serious life event for clients under normal circumstances and the significance of such an event increases exponentially when the nation as a whole is in a state of emergency.

Bob Leonard Law Group Provides Family Legal Services almost completely digitally

Fortunately for the clients of Bob Leonard Law Group, our firm has been preparing to provide services almost entirely digitally for several years leading up to this event and the transition to providing services fully online during this time is running smoothly. I personally am helping research the relevant legal requirements to perform will signing ceremonies virtually and already have full capability to assist probate and guardianship clients entirely by phone, email, and secure client portal communications.
