Like the name suggests, criminal law governs crimes where the prosecutor has the burden of proof, beyond a reasonable doubt. Bob Leonard and Judith Van Hoof have the experience and qualifications necessary to defend you in court.
Our attorneys can also assist you with expunction (erasing the criminal record) if the charges were dismissed, you were found not guilty, you were pardoned, or someone else used your name or identification when arrested (identity theft).
Misdemeanors
Turn to the attorneys at the Bob Leonard Law Group, P.L.L.C. for assistance with a misdemeanor charge.
Having a criminal record can affect your job prospects and your professional licensing options. So, if it is at all possible, you should try to get the charges dismissed. It is also possible to expunge [seal] the record of a conviction, but this could take years. As an attorney, I have litigated many cases related to misdemeanors. I may be able to help you get the charge dismissed or get a reduced sentence.

Our attorneys can assist you with a range of misdemeanor charges, including petty theft, loitering, trespassing, DUI, and driving with a suspended license.
DWI
Turn to the attorneys at the Bob Leonard Law Group, P.L.L.C. to assist you with a DWI case.
With a blood alcohol level above .08, you will be arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI). It is also possible to be arrested with a lower level or even it you refuse to take the test. This is a very serious charge. You may even face jail time—especially if you are a repeat offender. No lawyer can promise to get you off. The best outcome would be to get the charges dismissed, or barring that, try to get the sentence reduced. What I can tell you is that your chances of receiving a lesser punishment are usually better if you retain the services of an attorney.
— Bob Leonard, Attorney at Law.
Our attorneys can help you prepare for your court appearance and work toward obtaining a dismissal, lesser fines, or less jail time if you are convicted.
Occupational Licenses
If your driver’s license has been suspended, turn to the attorneys at the Bob Leonard Law Group, P.L.L.C. to assist you with filing for an occupational license.
The law is reasonable when it comes to granting occupational licenses. This is a restricted drivers license that enables you to drive to work and to carry out critical household tasks when your license has been suspended. If you are the only driver in your household, or if there is no one to drive you to and from work, you may be eligible.
