In The Community

At the Bob Leonard Law Group, we have a strong commitment to the community. Our staff and attorneys serve on professional boards and committees as well as spend considerable hours in charitable endeavors. Upcoming events:

• Lona Smith Fund, Right Now! On October 24, 2010, a tornado blew through Rice, Texas destroying property and injuring people. Our sweet friend Lona Smith lost her home. Her indomitable spirit and amazing faith in the Lord is an inspiration! We are working to help her rebuild her life.

• National Adoption Month, November 2010. The attorneys at the Bob Leonard Law Group join forces to help complete families through adoption. Special emphasis is given this month on step-parent adoption, relative/grandparent and foster-adoption.
• National Adoption Day, November 20, 2010. Celebrating a Family for Every Child. This year the Bob Leonard Law Group will provide encouragement and a touch of beauty to the annual ceremony by providing the adoptive mothers with a Texas yellow rose for each child adopted. The roses come with a certificate explaining the special significance of the yellow rose and commendation for the adoptive family.
• 16th Annual Celebrity Cutting, December 3, 2010. Benefitting the Careity Foundation and NCHA charities, the Celebrity Cutting features local and national celebrities. Sydney Leonard serves on the event committee and the Bob Leonard Law Group provides assistance wherever required.
