Karen Telschow Johnson
Karen Telschow Johnson is a dual-licensed attorney who has been practicing law for more than ten years.
Following her graduation from Texas A & M University, Karen went on to receive her J.D. in 1998 from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas, and placed in national competitions for Mediation.
Karen then moved from Texas, became a member of the State Bar of New York, and began working for the City of New York in family court and the administrative law division. Missing friends and family, Karen returned home to Fort Worth and entered private law practice.
Now with the Bob Leonard Law Group, Karen focuses on finances and financial planning, with an emphasis on Wills, Estate Planning, and Bankruptcy. Karen is currently devoting her considerable talents to the emerging field of Elder Law.
For Karen, it is vitally important that families are well-prepared for both the expected and unexpected events in their lives through the completion of basic documents with Powers of Attorneys and Guardianships to more extensive preparation through tax-planned Wills and Trusts. "If you do not have a plan created for your family, the State of Texas has one for you and the goals of the State may be different from your vision for your family. My goal is to help our clients plan for a successful tomorrow utilizing the assets and resources available to them today."
Whether the need is for bankruptcy or extensive estate planning and asset protection, Karen works with individuals and families to approach each decision made today with the goal of laying a firm foundation upon which they can build a strong future.
